Publishing with FTP

In this tutorial, we’ll demonstrate how to publish your website with a FREE FTP client ( Filezilla ).

Although you web editor will include some type of FTP function, it’s hard to beat the effectiveness of using an FTP client such as Filezilla. The reason being is publishing a website is simply the act of copying files from your computer to your web hosts computer. From there your web host can display your website files to the internet! When using the FTP function in your web editor, you have less control of which files are published as well as ‘where’ they are published to.
